Hey Everyone!
This week has been so amazing! Luckily Sister Rosell and I got to go to a Baptism and wedding this Saturday. Sister Kammeyer and I taught Christina in Liberal, but then I got transfered to Guymon. We were within 100 miles of Liberal, so we got permission to go!
Christina got baptized! It was such a miraculous step of faith because she told us when we first invited her to be baptized that she was deathly afraid of water because of a traumatic experience. Then on top of that she injured her knee and is on crutches. Well it happened, she was baptized a member of Christ's church. It was very amazing! Then she got all ready for her wedding right after the baptism and she got married to Billy! Now in a year they can get married in the temple!
This week has been so good! We have seen so many miracles. We actually had a referral from a senior couple in our area. Her name is Kathy and she lives in a trailer. She came to church and she loved it. It was pretty funny because we were talking about temples and family history in relief society and she's like,"So this temple sounds so amazing, where is it?" Then everyone started listing a bunch of temples nearby! We went over to her trailer after church and invited her to be baptized and she really wants to! And then she asked us what our purpose is. She said," Do you sisters just go collect souls and get them all sparkling clean for Christ?" haha well we've never really thought of it in that way, but I guess that's what missionaries do. :)
So these were the highlights of the week! There were so many miracles every day though. This is definitely God's work and we're simply the the chess pieces in his plan. I think that analogy works. :)
